The Gainesville Police Department is proud to announce a partnership with Stop Children's Cancer in an effort to raise awareness and funds to help put an end to cancer in children. As a part of this program, we have changed the graphics on some of our vehicles to pink to further help raise awareness. The Gainesville Police Department is committed to helping put an end to this terrible disease.
So many people in our community have been affected by children's cancer, including some of GPD's very own. While the color chosen to symbolize our recognition of this disease is pink...we stand united in helping end all types of cancer, but our goal is to help in the fight against children's cancer. ALL of the funds raised in this program are staying local - to help kids right here in Gainesville.
We urge you to help in any way you can. You can make a donation directly to the Stop Children's Cancer fund by clicking here. If you can't participate financially, then please help us spread the word by sharing this page!
