The Records Section is responsible for compiling, maintaining and disseminating information from department records regarding incident and traffic crash reports.  In addition, the Records Section is responsible for providing crime statistics to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for the Uniformed Crime Report.  Citizens can make public records requests for incident/traffic crash reports, background checks, and crime statistics.
