The Black on Black Crime Task Force is a cooperative effort between the Gainesville Police Department and citizens who work in partnership to devise innovative strategies to reduce crime, particularly in disadvantaged areas of the community. Staff support from the Police Department is provided to the organization by performing such tasks as recording minutes at the monthly meetings, sending out advance notice of these meetings, and fulfilling many other administrative functions for the Task Force.
