The Parking Violations Office is located inside the lobby of the Gainesville Police Department at 721 NW 6th St, (352) 334-2403. The office is staffed between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Fines may be paid in cash, by check, by money order, or by Visa and Mastercard when the office is open. A drop box is available in the lobby of the Police Department to pay parking fines (by check or money order only) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Parking citations must be paid within 7 days of the date the violation was issued. You can email questions by clicking here - Parking Office. Online Parking Citation Payment at City of Gainesville Web Site The City of Gainesville is pleased to announce that as of October 1st , 2006, its citizens can pay their parking citations online via the City’s new Online Parking Citation Payment Web Page: http://pcp.cityofgainesville.org . Citizens can use the Web page’s search functionality to search for their citation by either tag number or citation number, and then pay for it using PayPal. PayPal’s industry-leading security allows for safe, real-time payments. Citizens can use most major credit cards or a PayPal account to make their payment. However a PayPal account is not required. The City of Gainesville does not collect any credit card information. Once payments are processed, records at the City of Gainesville and the Department of Motor Vehicles will be updated accordingly, and the parking citations will be marked as paid. This service is for City of Gainesville issued parking citations only, and does not apply to other City of Gainesville citations or parking citations issued by the University of Florida or other law enforcement agencies.
